Let me start off saying good evening to all!! I hope that everybodies day went well.My day was pretty egh...i guess you could say usual. I started thinking about my best friend leaving me to go to his basic training which is all the way in Georgia i believe its quite depressing if you ask me granted he's going to do what he feels is right for him so i guess its not that bad. But i will miss him without a doubt i will, i may jokingly say i can't stand him beat him up (he does the same with me its all in play) i do care for him deeply. i let him know that one night after chilling and he said he felt the same however i reinforced it even more with a second text but he never responded which through me off so i thought to just let it go. i had feelings for him other than friendship but additional to it.However, i dropped all thoughts of that a long time ago well sometime last year. He will remain my best friend and i'm cool with that. He leaves in exactly three days,he will mot be back until like July i would cry but like i said do not like to cry. Another thought that popped into my brain was how innocent some children are. While i was at work two children came into my daycare well center. Beofre i finish that thought let me explain what i do; i work in the family court house where i live and i work in the Children's Center there. Now that i explained where i work i will explain what i do. I play along with the children we get in that day depending on the age of the child i read to them, i play board games with them, and just be the kid that i have within me.We get the children that are either in the middle of their parents crap, seperated from their biological parents, jacked up fathers they have or mother or both. When i start my shirt which varies but neway we do not always get any kids in the center. Now back to my story we got these two girls in today Sparkle, 6 & Renee, 8. They were adorable playful children who have active imaginations as well as hyperactive mind set's. They came in at about 2pm and and didn't leave till 4pm. When they first arrived i took their coats and backpacks and asked them their names and where they went to school, they responded and they were so consumed with the fact that they could play with all the toys within their reach that they said could we really play with everything here? I said yes and they were off. 5 minutes into their playing this caucasion man appears in the room and ask's are the children here to the mother, and she said yes they were my boss who very rudely said you have to wait for the mother to bring them to you outside of the center. Sometimes i wonder if my boss has any manners. Any who-- the girls step out and go with their new lawyer i later found out. While they were out i assist the mother with the intake sheet and i realize that she doesn't spell very well. And it made me wonder how does she read to them at night. I also figured out that she doesn't read all that well either so i took it upon myself to fill out the intake sheet for her. So ne who to the part that mad me realize how innocent children are. The oldest Renaee goes to her mother i like her speaking of me, saying that i was really nice, and that wishes to stay forever. Mind you she has never been to the center before and was only there so far for like 10 or 15 minutes. it made me wonder do they cling to everyone they meet that is nice to them it was so genuine and so like heartfelt that it made me wanna be a teacher even more than i am now. I do not know what their mother was their for but i do know shes a respondent to whom ever petitioned her there. But maybe that's just me but yea. Another thing was so while i was waiting for the bus to go home from work, i was rockin to my ipOd and chatting on facebook until my hands got to cold so i went back to just listening to my ipOd i seen this kid i used to bop around with along with other friends from when i used to smoke and drink and thought i was cool. i turned around thinking maybe he didn't see me but that was a bust casue sure enough he did like usual. He stopped talked eyed me up and down ( i really dislike when a guy starts a conversation and you can feel their eyes roaming an no longer looking at you in your face, ugh disgusted) ne who he was speaking to me about how he was just coming from his job as a waiter and i said that was cool because around here you can make almost $250 a shift. he was like its cool for rii now. i was like okay understood and then i persisted to ask about school meaning was he enrolled in school. And guess what the answer was uh no," no more school for me i'm done" his words exactly. The last time i checked he was in night school for high school and that to me alone is a bit of a turn off a non educated man that didn't want to broaden his horizons. I feel that every one from every ethnic group should educate himself farther than just high school its not appealing to me if your not at least considering college-community or 4 years heck even a trade school like come on there's somuch bigger things than settling for to live and work in New Rochelle. But i swear that kid has a thing for me but i think its a lust thing an he's inly like 18 or 19, as my momma always told me you don't date younger you date older and wiser. But thas pretty much it for my day at least for now, yea thas it.
